My hero’s!

This is a really special post today. I have soooo much respect and love for this family! The mom and I felt that these chairs represented the family so well. They are all slightly different, and yet somewhat the same, but they fit perfectly together, just like the gorgeous children who sit on them!

Near and dear to my heart

This shoot was special for a lot of reasons, most of which involve my family. The first few are of my brother his wife and their son, and then my sister in law and her kids jumped in and of course my little Kezi. Beautiful, beautiful people! This shoot is for Nana:) It was also special to shoot at Fort Steele again, it’s been awhile but I ALWAYS love it there!!

The Huggins Family!!

This is a long post, and as you scroll down you will understand why! This family is gorgeous, (exotic, stunning…. I could go on and on)! Their kids are a perfect and surprising mix of mom and dad. I photographed Jack and Eden when they were younger but this is my first time I have had the privileged of photographing Anna (the littlest). What an honor and what a good time! Huggins family, you sure know how to have fun!!

A little help goes a long way!

As some of you know, my husband usually joins me on my family shoots (especially the ones with little kids) and is my Jester. He makes everyone laugh and makes dad’s feel like family photos are actually a fun way to spend the morning (yup, he really is THAT good;). So recently when I was doing a shoot with some really littles my husband could not make it so I called Deanna to step in. She did great! So as a thanks I took a few of her too. The Guys- Just a taste

So here is just a taste of a wonderful family shoot that I did the other day. This family has impressed me so much. They have adopted all their beautiful children out of the foster system. (the older two are just 6 months apart.. and I thought my kids were close in age!) I just love it when I hear stories of people opening their homes to any number of children to love on them, protect them and raise them. It is inspiring and heart warming. Meet the Guy family.
